Brief About Innovation
Technology for the production of rice husk based plastic composite used in the manufacture of window & door frames, profile panels, decking, fencing, flooring, park benches etc. Rice husk which is an agricultural waste material has found a number of applications in construction sector ranging from use as mineral additives in concrete to making timber substitute composites. It can be used as replacement of natural wood due to its wood like surface appearance and meets requirement of Indian National Building Code 2005 ( Sec 3 dealing with Timber).
